What is APOG?

APOG brings together academic professionals in obstetrics and gynaecology from Canadian medical universities and designated facilities involved in both pre and post-doctoral education.  It provides a forum for communication and discussion, collaboration, problem-solving, and policy development.

How do you become a member of APOG?

Membership in the association is department based. All faculty, residents, and students within each Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology are members by default. APOG also offers individualized membership for other academic professionals who do not fit in the above category.

How is the association funded?

APOG relies heavily contributions from the 16 universities across Canada that teach Obstetrics and Gynaecology.  We also rely on educational grants provided by sponsors who share our vision of improving women’s health through education and research.
