In 2010 the APOG Educational Innovation Committee was struck to serve as a national resource for Academic Professionals in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Its mandate is the sharing, development, content review, and evaluation of undergraduate, postgraduate, and interprofessional education. Two of its major objectives are to: 1) catalogue and share innovative teaching and learning techniques and keep them current; 2) develop a web-based resource directory of videos, films, teaching slides, computer-based problem solving programs, scenarios for simulation learning, tools for evaluation and assessment of both students and faculty, and other self-directed learning resources for students and faculty. We would like your help to add teaching or learning initiatives from across Canada to our database. The database represents an opportunity to collect and make available to educators a wide variety of educational and assessment tools and to provide a web-based resource to disseminate and access these tools.
